Hand chosen Vactrols are matched one by one in a custom test fixture to make sure that every component works within a well defined ‘sweet spot’ range. No guessing here." The Berkeley offers a pedalboard-friendly size and form factor, beautiful design and typography (unlike nearly all Uni-Vibes - yes, design matters), expression control, a killer boost circuit with Level knob, controls for Intensity and Rate, classic Chorus or Vibrato modes, takes 9v power from a standard pedal power supply with no weird adapters. Beyond the knobs on the face of the pedal, you can also open up the bottom of the enclosure and adjust three different trim pots for phase notch depth, impedance, and voicing to craft the perfect univibe sound for your rig!
