Daniel Seriff is a Berklee-trained guitarist, working musician, and guitar educator based in New York. He teaches guitar online, performs regularly, and has built a community of students around his approach to technique, theory, and tone — all worth knowing more about.

In this conversation Daniel and I dig into the gear we're both currently vibing on: the Benson Amps Vincent, KingTone Heavy Hand, JAM Pedals Rattler, Wahcko, and Ripply Fall, the Bondi Effects Del Mar overdrive, and guitars by Novo, Frank Brothers, and Prisma with Lollar Pickups. Daniel talks about his relationship with the Universal Audio UAFX pedal lineup and specifically how those emulations translate to a live stage context — which is a meaningfully different question from how they perform in a bedroom or studio.
